24 Weeks - Pregnancy Update

How Far: 24 weeks

Gender: Girl

Sleep: I'm still really not sleeping well, I fidget trying to get myself comfortable every night. My left hip has started to become painful from laying on it every night and I am starting to feel I need a bigger bed. When I finally get comfortable I'm often kicking Dan to the edge of the bed.

Cravings: Still sweets, I don't even think it's a craving! I have always had a massive sweet tooth, I think the pregnancy is just my excuse to need more. Although I am trying to limit how many I eat now.

Symptoms: The heartburn at night is awful! When I'm not awake in the night, I am always dreaming which is really exhausting, I wake up feeling like I need another night sleep. I had a lovely few weeks of feeling great but slowly I can feel myself getting really tired now.

Movements: Lots of wiggles the last two weeks, she is getting so much stronger now that I managed to film the bump moving for the first time last week.

Stretchmarks: I still have no new ones, but occasionally I feel my skin getting a little sore, it wouldn't surprise me if new ones appeared soon. I am moisturising daily though!

Moments -

- Best: Aella felt the bump move for the first time, she was so excited she had to tell Daddy all about it!

- Worst: Apart from the heartburn and lack of sleep, there really isn't much to moan about.

I am missing: There isn't a lot I am missing, yes I would like better sleep but I'm just trying to enjoy being pregnant.

I am looking forward to: Dan coming home from being away for work, I'm not lonely and the extra bed space is amazing but I just miss his company of an evening. Pregnancy related, I'm just taking the pregnancy as it comes at the moment. There isn't anything i'm looking forward to, just enjoying it.
