Dave - Happy Father's Day

My Stepdad is a really special man! He has been in my life since I was 6 years old, being in my life so long some people would think I call him Dad. I don't call him Dad because Dad was a man that broke me, a man that crushed my confidence and made me fell worthless. I always felt like my best was never good enough, just being me wasn't good enough and the man that told me he doubts he would be there to see me get married one day. I never wanted people to get confused my Stepdad with my Dad, so I call him Dave.

I don't think I could ever thank Dave enough for taking me on as his own and for stepping up when Dad stepped out of my life. For watching out for me and teaching me right from wrong (I will never forget the 3 hour lectures!!) and for not only being a father figure but for being a best bud too!
