Hello From The Other Side

I sit here and I can't help but smile. I have been running up and down the stairs putting Aella back to bed, I set the smoke alarm off again (at 10pm! I seem to have a habit of this) and it woke Aella up. After putting Aella to bed one last time, I sat on the sofa (waiting for another call from Aella) looking through Facebook. Out of the blue, one of Aella's toys starts going off which at first put me on edge a little considering the buttons have to be pressed for it to actually work.

I didn't take much notice then it started talking again. it was repeating "Lets Go!!". I had decided that it or someone was trying to tell me something. After a few minutes it then started making a typing sound, instantly it make me think of my blogging. I am always complaining about when is best to type, that I struggle with timings, yet there I am parked on my bum scrolling through Facebook. I pulled out my laptop whilst the toy continues to chatter away, "This is going to be fun!" "Lets Go!!" Type Type Type".

The whole time this was happening I was messaging Dan about it, after pulling out my laptop I messaged Dan again saying I thought it was a sign I needed to write a blog post, as I did this the toys came out with "You have reached your destination". I had realised what I should be doing instead of sitting on my bum!

I think I am sat here now feeling slightly confused wondering if that sequence would have played the same way it did if I had have just ignored it. Have I just taken a message from it that was never there, was it simply a toy making noise that coincidentally reminded me of something I was meant to do. Maybe I'm just tired and it didn't happen at all?!

There is a part of me that likes to think it's the other side trying to make contact, I guess it comforts me the thought of being watched over but whoever or whatever it might have been, it certainly gave me a kick up the bum and make me smile this evening!
