Dear Aella - 17 Months

Dear Aella,

(Oops 4 days late!)

You are such a beautiful little girl, you are full of character and make me laugh everyday. Every month I see this little baby turning into a little girl, I see your little character blossoming and every month you are surprising me with something new you have learnt.

For the last 2 weeks you haven't stopped dancing and singing. When we have guests you grab your plastic microphone and begin to sing (it maybe more of a shout at the moment) you stop and clap waiting for everyone to clap and cheer too before you carry on. You simply love attention, I said to Daddy you will grow up and want to be some sort of entertainer.

As well as singing you don't stop talking, you babble away to yourself most of the time and I have no clue what you are saying but you seem to be enjoying yourself.

You have been teething for about 2 weeks now which really hasn't been nice for you, but you have had another tooth break through and I'm sure there will be more in the next few days, you haven't stopped chewing on your fingers and dribbling everywhere!

Fortunately since you have been teething you haven't gone off food, in fact I think you ask for more because it feels nice on your gums. You have always been amazing with food but I do have to keep an eye on how much you eat because you always want more not because you are hungry but because you like it.

Sometimes when you want something you take my hand and lead me to the kitchen, stand next to the cupboard and say 'Please' it's so cute but we do have to say no sometimes, which makes you a little upset.

This message has taken me days to write because you have been taking up most of my time and it really doesn't flow as well as I want it to. It's usually when you nap that I sit down to write but even then you can distract me, I will go to check on you and I could sit there hours just watching.

I am so proud of you.

(you have just woken up so I'm going to click post before it takes another 4 days)
